The Sanguinet lake

The campsite has direct access to the 5800ha Sanguinet Lake, the second largest in France.

The natural freshwater lake formed approximately 4000 years ago and is now a slice of paradise surrounded by greenery and pine trees.

This haven of peace is bordered by fine sandy beaches, has shaded parking spaces and a cycle path running to Biscarosse ocean beach. Its calm, clear and shallow water can reach 28° in summer making it a great place to try your hand at the many water sports.

The municipal beaches near the campsite have lifeguards (Plage de Caton.)
Paddles, pedalos, canoes, kayaks and sailboards available to hire on-site.
